William Young Hoon Kim is a Certified Public Accountant with over two decades of experience in public accounting. William is a Certified Public Accountant in New York, New Jersey, and Missouri. He is a partner of the firm and oversees its overall management, handling responsibilities such as technical review of financial statements, complex corporate and individual tax returns, and various accounting systems, including computerized accounting systems.

William has acquired extensive experience across industries including health care, hospitals, investment banking, retail, distribution, not-for-profit organizations, manufacturing, information technology, and medical services. Holding the title of Microsoft Certified System Engineer, he possesses expertise in computer networking and applications. Clients derive value from his in-depth audit experience, meticulous attention to detail, and a strong commitment to establishing close and hands-on working relationships.

Before co-founding Semyung LLP, William’s current role is as a managing partner at LK Certified Public Accountants LLC. He has a background that includes serving as a senior auditor at Deloitte & Touche LLP and Baker Tilly Virchow Krause, LLP. In these roles, he had oversight over various audits, particularly in large non-profit organizations, health care industries, and investment banking sectors. William’s educational foundation consists of a bachelor’s degree with dual majors in Marketing and Human Resources from the University of Missouri, along with a master’s degree in business administration (MBA) specialized in accounting from Saint Louis University.
